Chef John, Chef Tiphani, and their team crushed our wedding dinner! We are still getting compliments from our guests – including my MIL who said it is one of the best meals she’s had in a while. They were extremely timely. As a fellow hospitality professional, I was thoroughly impressed that minutes following the last speech – our salads hit the tables. The food was delicious, thoughtful, and perfectly elevated. We definitely made the right choice for our wedding and are so grateful for all of the hard work that went into making it such a smashing success.

I don’t even know where to begin when it comes to Chef John and Tiphani. Our original catering company had filed for bankruptcy resulting in the loss of their business for our wedding approximately a month before the big day. We immediately reached out to multiple businesses where Chef John quickly sent a response with wanting to help. Through the short process, he made us feel comfortable and reassured us that our food service would be executed similarly to what we had planned. We also loved how he took our last minute inspiration of adding a Dutch flare to the dishes to make them unique in following the grooms culture. The food was outstanding and the team was extremely professional and polite. What an absolute honor and privilege it was to have Green Fork cater our wedding.

AMAZING! Not just the food they prepared for our daughter’s wedding, but the entire process working with them during our 10 months of planning. Chef John and Chef Tiphani provided great consultation during the planning process and at our tasting testing. Considering how busy they are on weekends and during the week preparing for events ahead, they were great at replying to notes and questions we had. The night of the wedding, we received SOOO many compliments from guests about how tasty and delicious the food was and how thoughtful the selection was planned to work around food allergies. We did a serving combination – family style with bread and salad at the tables and then buffet style for the main course. Buffet moved through very nicely and everyone enjoyed being able to try a variety of items. We were very impressed with Green Fork Foods services and the team was super friendly and helpful on site. We would highly recommend them for a wedding or other special event!

Chef John and Tiphani at Greenfork were absolutely incredible from start to finish. They were so easy to work with, incredibly communicative, and made the entire process feel seamless.
And the food was seriously UNBELIEVABLE. Wedding food can be so hit or miss, but this was truly Top Chef-level. Everything was delicious, and we had so many guests go out of their way to tell us how amazing the food was. They also had everything coming out so quickly and smoothly no guests waiting, which is such a rarity at weddings! One of the sweetest touches was that they brought appetizers up to the bridal suite for us during cocktail hour. It gave us a chance to take a few minutes alone together as newlyweds without missing out on all the amazing food we had picked out. We truly could not say enough good things about Chef John, Tiphani, and the Green Fork team. The food and service were both exceptional, and they were such a huge part of making our wedding day so special. We would recommend them without hesitation!

Chef John and Tiphani were fantastic. We used them to cater a small and significant family gathering, and the menu they put together as well as the care on the day of the event were all top notch. They were flexible with the menu when we wanted things that were a little different than originally discussed, they worked in our small cottage without any complaints, were patient with the many children in our group, and were completely self-sufficient. They arrived without needing any guidance or help, which was super important for the nature of this particular event. We loved the meal, and we were able to be completely present with family instead of cooking. Thank you so much, John & Tiphani. Highly recommended and we would definitely use them again!

My husband and I had an intimate wedding of just 21 people total. Food was important to us and we wanted to be sure that we chose a vendor that would be able to do something unique and delicious for us. Going into the tasting, we knew that we didn’t want just the standard, beef, chicken or fish option with a few sides for our wedding. John had pretty much told us that the sky was the limit of what he could do. He worked with us to create the menu of our dreams. The food was delicious, upscale and elevated our whole reception with the service. John and Tiphani even created a gourmet s’more for us to have around the campfire at our venue, which was an elegant touch. Everyone raved about the food. Green Fork catered our intimate wedding, and they were truly a joy to work with. From the moment we attended the tasting, we could feel the passion that Chef John and Chef Tiphani pour into their food. My grandmother always said that if food isn’t made with love, it won’t taste good—and you can absolutely taste the love in every bite. Their menu offers a wide variety of delicious options, each dish thoughtfully crafted and beautifully presented. They were also incredibly accommodating with dietary restrictions, making sure every guest was taken care of. Dinner service was smooth, and their staff was both friendly and attentive throughout the evening.

We had a lovely meal for eight, including wine pairing, catered by Green Fork – two appetizers, a salad, two proteins and a delicious lemon dessert. They brought everything needed for prep and serving, including the place settings and wine glasses. Chef John explained each dish and how it was prepared, and also provided details of each wine pairing. I would highly recommend them for catering any event.

If you want an elevated and unique dining experience, Green Fork Food is the way to go. John and Tiphani were extremely knowledgeable about their craft and you saw that evidenced in their presentation. They were accommodating to dietary restrictions, special requests, and made sure our dinner was perfect. We also loved the fact that they sourced everything locally, even though it meant we had to switch up some things the week of the event. Visiting their location in Grand Rapids for our tasting was super fun and everyone raved about how good everything was for weeks after the wedding. Highly recommend!
